The Board of Trustees is pleased to share this brief presidential search update on the process to identify the next President of Mayland Community College. 

Presidential Profile Development:

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to complete the online survey. Your input was insightful and valuable, and it was used to inform the creation of the Presidential Profile. The Presidential Profile was reviewed, discussed, and edited by the Board of Trustees, and approved on January 21, 2025.

The Profile is also posted to the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) website at: ACCTSearches.org

The target date for receipt of applications is:    Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

The recruitment process at the local, state and national levels has begun, and will continue until the target date for receipt of applications. Candidates are directed to the ACCT Searches website to access materials. The ACCT application portal will open on January 27, 2025.  The Board is committed to conducting an equitable and transparent search process.

As previously shared, The Board of Trustees anticipates all finalists visiting the College and interviewing with the Board in late April – early May. Each finalist will participate in public forums and all who attend the public forums will have the opportunity to share their feedback. This feedback will go directly to the Board of Trustees for their review and consideration. Details about the exact dates, times, and location will be forthcoming, once finalized.
