Electrical Technician I Class

What you'll learn

This Electrical Technician Level I class is based on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum. Electricians read blueprints, solve complex math problems, and install electrical systems (all while adhering to numerous electrical and building codes). (185 Hours)

Training Includes:

  • Career paths
  • Responsibilities and aptitudes of an electrician
  • Tasks performed by an electrician
  • Safety and communication skills on the construction site

Admission Requirements:

  • High school diploma/equivalency or completion of CASAS assessment with at least 8th grade reading and math skills

Cost of Class:

  • Tuition/Registration: $180
  • Text: $379 (subject to change)
  • Optional accident insurance: $1.20

Other Fees:

  • Certification Exam: $24

8/30–2/21/23, TTh, 5:30–8:30 p.m. 

One Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

These funds will be distributed as a direct payment to students to help offset the cost of the class including tuition, books, transportation and other related fees.
